He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Bentley and Martha Wright Bentley; and his sisters, Becky Lee Bentley and Linda Jo McCorkle. He is survived by: his wife April Reeves Bentley; his sons, Roger Weslee Bentley (Hunter) of York, SC and Jeremy Scott Bentley of Richburg, SC; his grandson Jameson Scott Bentley; and his siblings, Robert E. Bentley of San Antonio, TX, Kevin Wayne Bentley (Candy) of Blackstock, SC and Becky Lynn Rochester of Blackstock, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the West End Baptist Church (1727 McConnells Hwy, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (149 Cemetery St, Chester, SC 29706).
