Steven D. Phillips Obituary
In Loving Memory of Steven Duane Phillips Steven Duane Phillips, 41, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away at Piedmont Medical Center, on Friday. Oct 3, 2025 surrounded by those who loved him.
Steven was one of a kind — full of life, laughter, and love. He was outgoing and could light up any room with a smile or a joke. He always had a funny comeback ready and never met a stranger. People were drawn to him because of his warmth and how he made everyone feel like family.
He loved simple pleasures — fishing, Machining AR-15 Guns, CLEMSON football, firing up the Traeger or Blackstone to cook up something delicious, and spending time with the people who meant the most to him. Steven was a protector, a provider, and a devoted family man. His greatest pride and joy was being a husband to Alice and a father to his beloved daughter, Caroline Elizabeth.
Steven is survived by his wife, Alice Phillips, and his daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Phillips; his parents, Steven W. Phillips and Sandra Phillips; his brother, Michael Phillips; aunts and uncles, many cousins and his beloved friends.
He was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents, Juanita and Carol Phillips, and his beloved Boxers Duke and Roscoe.
Steven's laughter, his big heart, and the love he gave so freely will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him. "To know him was to love him, and to be loved by him was a blessing we'll carry always.".
