Susan Childers Obituary
We bid farewell to Susan Childers (Rock Hill, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry C. Couch Sr. and Sophie Bolden Couch; and her brothers, Jerry R. Couch (Linda) of Rock Hill, SC and Tony M. Couch. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Childers of Greenville, SC; her siblings, Jane Stevenson of Carlisle, SC, Peggy Helms of Rock Hill, SC, Jean Murry of Tennessee, Ina Marshburn of Chester, SC, Rhonda Griffin of York, SC and Joe Mac Couch (Martha) of Rock Hill, SC; her granddaughters, MeKayla (Dixon) and McKynzie; and her niece Paula Oates (Danny) of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations or memorials may be made in Susan's name to The Gamecock Club.
