The memory of Sylvia Strait of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Sylvia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sylvia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband William Edward Strait Sr.; her children, Lee Strait and William Edward Strait Jr. (Eddie); her daughter-in-law Christy Strait; her granddaughter Ashley Strait Purser; her son-in-law Robert Purser; and her great grandchild Blythe Purser.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice and Community Care of Rock Hill.
