He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. Tuner and Lillie Mae Blanton Turner; his sons, Wayne Paul Turner Jr. and Michael James Turner; and his sisters, Christine Johnson and Carolyn Godbee.
He is survived by: his son Garrett Turner of Rock Hill, S. C.; and his siblings, Bobby D. Henderson (Elaine) of Rock Hill, S. C. and Peggy Tyre (Eb) of Lancaster, S. C.. He is also survived by two grandchildren, seven nieces and four nephews.
