He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Milton and Joyce Patterson Huggins; his son Stanley Eugene Huggins; and his siblings, Basil Huggins and Faye Lancaster.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Roper Huggins; his daughters, Joy Huggins Turnipseed (Scott) of Marietta, GA and Carla Huggins Percival (Jon) of Hendersonville, NC; his grandchildren, Rebecca Sparks, Alisha Duston (John) and Morgan Kennedy (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Collin (Naomi), Carson, Peyton Sparks and Hannah Duston.
