We announce the death of Helga Barth Bastien (Roebuck, South Carolina), who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 84. Helga will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Barth and Frieda Barth; her daughters, Pat Scruggs (Mike) and Karen Tucker (Lewis); her grandchildren, Michael Scruggs (Pete Burd), Matthew Scruggs (Casey), Nathan Scruggs (Hanah), Lauren Pagliuca (Spencer) and Christian Tucker (Logan); and her great grandchildren, Grady, Deacon Scruggs and Sienna Pagliuca.
