She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie E. Frazier Hughes and Melvin Hughes; her brother John E. Hughes; and her close friend Sandy Frith. She is survived by: her son Mike Hughes; her grandson Mike Hughes, Jr.; her sister Joy Hughes; her niece Shelley Morton (Tim); her nephews, Shawn Fisher (Nicole) and John Hughes (Teresa McCarter); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sage, Kyle, Alexia, Jordyn and Mia; and her pet Spunky.
