She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Roland Fleming, Sr. and Lola Mae Fleming; and her siblings, Frances Lenora Mae Fleming, Miles Albert Fleming, Roland David Fleming and Miles Roland Fleming, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Claude William Owens; her children, Claude Perry Owens (Deborah), Dr. Laurina Owens Williams (Dennis) and Thaddeus Philip Owens (late Pamela); her grandchildren, Dennis Cleveland Owens Williams (April), Philip Chad Owens, Laurina Lola Rose Downs (Warren) and Ethan Bradley Owens; her great grandchildren, Carly Williams, Logan Williams, Preston Owens, Iris Mae Downs, Greysen Jones, Chloe Williams and Cooper Owens; her siblings, Myrtle Fleming Wyatt, Rev. Larry Fleming and Cecil Fleming; and her caregivers, Latasha Jones, Ethan Bradley Owens, Chad Owens and Tammy Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home & Crematory (690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
