We are sad to announce that on October 9, 2025, at the age of 57, Carolyn Stogner Griggs (Ruby, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Carson Stogner. She is survived by: her husband Angelo Griggs; her mother Sue Stogner of Jefferson, SC; her sister Kathy Ann Stogner of Jefferson, SC; her stepsons, Johnny Griggs of Patrick, SC, Derek Griggs of Elgin, SC and Joey Griggs (Alexa) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chandler Griggs, Cameron Griggs, Carson Griggs, Derek "Lil'D" Griggs, Bentley Griggs, Austin Griggs, Cheyenne Griggs and Coby Griggs; her sibling's children, Rev. Kyle Anthony Stogner of Jefferson, SC and Kelly Renessa Aslund (Tyler) of Florence, SC; and her great-nephew Caleb Joshua Aslund.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery (5386 Angelus Rd, Ruby, SC 29741). A reception will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
In honor of Carolyn's love for children, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital (http://www.stjude.org).
