He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Watson and Lillie Mae Watson; his brother James Franklin Watson; his niece Wanda Ann Morgan; and his friend Liz Raffaldt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sarah Fudge (Robert) of Rock Hill, SC, Grady Watson (Connie) of Lexington, SC and Virginia Horton (Merlin); his niece Lisa Talany (Dave); his nephews, Kenneth Watson, Charles Horton (Elisabeth) and Benjamin Horton (Amanda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenadie Grace DeLaura, Camden Horton, Blake Horton, Noah Horton and Everett Horton.
