It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Smyly of Ruffin, South Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Driggers and Annie Lee Munn Driggers; her son Frankie Jacques; her sisters, Marian Rounds and Sandy Florence; and her brothers-in-law, Tony Smyly and Leon Florence.

She is survived by : her husband Gregory Scott Smyly of Ruffin; her sons, Mark Jacques of Cottageville and Allen Jacques (Sam) of Cottageville; her daughter-in-law Rachel Jacques of Cottageville; her grandsons, Quay Jacques, A. J. Jacques and Shawn Jacques; her brother David Driggers of Goose Creek; and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Herndon (Benjie) of Ruffin, Kathy Smyly of Ruffin and John Rounds. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
