He was predeceased by: his parents, Monnie Lee Padgett and Edy Sauls Padgett; his son Jody Conrad Padgett; and his brothers, Norman Padgett and Jimmy Padgett.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dean Breedlove Padgett; his children, Jill Padgett Ogden and Dusty Padgett (Kathie); and his grandchildren, Samantha Brooke Padgett, Brittany Cook and Brandon Cook.
