We announce the death of Katrena Smoak McCall of Ruffin, South Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parent Wightman Smoak; her husband Carl McCall; her sister Maryanne Bunton; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Bunton. She is survived by: her mother Mildred Smoak of Walterboro; her daughter Allyson McCall Puccinelli; her son-in-law Justin Puccinelli of Buellton, California; her adoptive son Samuel Plyler of Ruffin; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Jane Smoak of Edisto. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colleton County Animal Shelter in honor of Katrena's lifelong love of animals.
