He is survived by: his wife Peggy Reeves Covington; his children, Toby Covington (Anita) of Ruffin, Dean Covington (Michelle) of Walterboro, Michael Covington (Donna) of Walterboro, Robin Kinard of Smoaks, Timmy Covington (Edie) of Ruffin and Jo Jo Covington of Smoaks; his nephew Marty Iler (Patty); his sisters, Cathy Dolly and Easter Parrish; and his pet Max. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
