He was predeceased by: his parents, Aimar Martin and Alma Kinard; his stepfather Moody Iriel; his children, Richard Taylor, Robert Martin and Valerie Martin; and his siblings, Jimmy Martin, Della Mae Bishop and Betty Kendall.
He is survived by: his wife Veneta Iriel Martin; and his sons, Timothy Taylor (Pam) of Ruffin, SC, Steven Martin (Michelle) of Pinellas Park, FL and Ron Martin (Jennifer) of Ruffin, SC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to: Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 10565 Lowcountry Highway, Ruffin.
