He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McCay Johnson; his sons, David Okayama Johnson, II (Jennifer) of Pearisburg, VA and Michael David Johnson (Andrea) of Evansville, GA; his stepchildren, Kimberly Weeks (Stuart) of Greer, SC and Edward Franklin Miller, III (Julia) of Aiken, SC; and his sister Janice Tillman (Richard) of Evans, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren and a baseball team of great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.
