He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Singletary, Sr. and Jestine Cobbs Singletary; his siblings, Eartha Lee Dereef and J. Harrel Singletary; and his nephew Keith Dereef.

He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Singletary, Evelyn Singletary, Marvis Robinson (Nathan) of Hinesville, GA and Brenda Lee Singletary of Swainsboro, GA; his aunts, Lorraine McMillan of Philadelphia, PA and Sara Little; his uncle Leroy Cobbs; and his cousin Corine Prezzy (Jonathan Utsey) of Vance, SC.
