He is survived by: his wife Carey Kizer Smith; his daughters, Penny Smith Buckley (Michael) and Mary Patricia "Patty" Smith Mullen; his grandchildren, Taylor Buckley (Kristen), Preston Buckley (Billy), William Mullen and Jessica Mullen; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Madison Buckley and Sawyer Buckley; his siblings, Linda S. Pate, Ronnie Williams (Elaine), Mary Ruth Williams and Debbie Williams Livingston (Ross); his mother-in-law Evelyn Kizer; and his brother-in-law G. W. Kizer.
