He was predeceased by : his parents, James Herman Weeks and Mary Alice Durr Weeks; and his sister Kathryn Weeks Batten. He is survived by : his children, Kathryn Elizabeth Weeks Bramblett (Bobby) and James Michael Weeks, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Hope Hughes, Shawn and Nancy Urichsen.
