He is survived by: his wife Cathy Clayton Byron; his children, Nichole Tench (Scot), Brittany Wamer (Thomas), Joseph Nazaire "Joey" Byron, III and Cadra Hartzog (Earl); his grandchildren, Ethan Reid, Emerson Tench, Bryant Wamer, Elli Reese Wamer, Gatsby Byron, J. Byron, Boone Hartzog and Banks Hartzog; and his siblings, Cyprian "Cippy" Byron, Renee Grooms, Terri Steely and Donna Byron.
