She was predeceased by: her mother Rollie Mae Hicks; her daughter Brenda Sue White; her granddaughter Zondrea "Deesha" White; and her father Edward Hicks of Harleyville. She is survived by: her siblings, Geneva Davis (Rutledge) of Harleyville, Louise Fields (Richard) of Harleyville, Valara James (Leroy, Sr.) of Harleyville, Ann Smalls (Keith) of Harleyville, Harry Hicks (Thomasenia) of Eutawville, John "Robbie" Hicks of Summerville and Edward, Jr. (Hicks); her granddaughter Raquel S. White "Rockie"; her great grandchild Azariah Sue Kim Watts; her cousin Hattie Folk (Mildred Steed); and her close friends, Linda Sue Mack and Elease.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (107 S Parler Ave, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Lovely Hill Convention Center (5905 W Jim Bilton Blvd, St George, SC 29477).
