Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Mims and Rev. Bobby Etheridge officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Kirkhart, Noah Linder, Aaron McAlister, Bobby Revell, Mitch Knight and Clarence Johnson. Burial will follow in the St. George Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be an hour before the service.

Netta was born on May 31, 1951 in St. George, a daughter of the late Fitzu Lee and Pearline I Marchant. She was a 1969 graduate of Harleyville-Ridgeville and worked at Westbury Ace Hardware, Walterboro. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she loved Jesus, plants and her family and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Larry J. Marchant, Donald Marchant and Roland P. Marchant; sister-in-law, Peggy Marchant; and, brother-in-law, Wallace Knight. She was first married to John Kelley.

Surviving are sons, Chip E. Kirkhart and Lawrence (Heather) Kirkhart, Jr.; a daughter, Ashley (Jimmy) Kirkhart; grandchildren, Aaron McAlister, Jason Kirkhart, Tina Kirkhart, Patrick Kirkhart, Clarissa Gilliam, Noah Linder, Jude Linder, Luke Triance, Ashundra Crumpler, Allayha Crumpler and Jeslyn Crumpler; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Graves, Jr., Aydin Gilliam, Arya Gilliam, Annalys Gilliam and Rhett Fisk; sister, Dicksie M. Knight; sister-in-law, Carolyn Marchant; several nieces and nephews; and special cats that she loved, Thomas and Larry.
