He was predeceased by : his parents, William Pinckney Kizer and Vernata Peagler Kizer. He is survived by : his wife Sandra A. Kizer; his brother Freddie Kizer; his daughters, Chelsea M. Kizer and Brandi L. Kizer; and his siblings, Herman Kizer of St. George, Thurman Kizer (Lenora) of St. George and Theresa Sweatman Mathis.
