With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edward Atkins of Saint George, South Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Elon Ann Atkins; his daughters, Linda Spaulding and Melissa Atkins; his grandchildren, William Spaulding, Kyle Spaulding, Kathrine Spaulding, Elizabeth Wadsworth and Evan Wadsworth; and his siblings, LeAnn Atkins, Dennis Atkins and Trudy Hartley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Memorial Baptist Church in his honor.
