He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith Bowman; his children, Caroline Lynsey Resop-Bowman (Alex) and Sam Decatur Preston (Julie); his brother Thomas Hubbell (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Landon Resop, Maxwell, Eleanor Resop-Bowman and Kepa Preston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
