It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Denmark (Saint Helena Island, South Carolina), born in Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Denmark; her son Marshall Prentiss Mixon; her parents, Alma Roberts Prentiss and Harry Lavern Prentiss; her siblings, Jeanette Crapse Limehouse and Robert McConnel "Bobby" Crapse; and her stepgrandson Jason Bristow.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Mixon LaRue and Jodi Mixon Wuttke; her stepchildren, David Denmark, Jan Schmidt, Katherine Denmark Moran and James L. Denmark Jr.; her granddaughters, Sarah Wuttke (Jake Tschaen) and Melissa Wuttke (Brian); her great grandchildren, Emryk Waters, Clementine Waters, Lucy Tschaen and Effram Tschaen; her stepgrandchildren, Desiree, Lindsey, Kyle and Bowen; and her nephew Scott Baldwin.
