He was predeceased by: his stepmother Annie Fitts; and his brother Ernie Fitts. He is survived by: his son Donovon Fitts; and his siblings, Harry Collins, Herbert Fitts, Esten Fitts (Bubba), Glenda Hinson, Brenda Fitts, Celia Fitts Whitehead, Delia Fitts Bowen and Pamela Fitts Golightly.
