He was predeceased by: his parents, H. R. "Doc" Stabler and Jennie Vee Hair Stabler; and his brother Henry David Stabler (Miriam). He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ayers Stabler; his children, Raymond R. Stabler of North and Patti S. McCarson (Brian) of North; his grandchildren, Shane McCarson (Katie) of St. Matthews and Casey McCarson of North; and his great grandchild Mason McCarson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dukes Harley Funeral Home (3379 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dukes Harley Funeral Home Chapel (3379 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery.
