He is survived by : his wife Patsy Reeves Burns; his daughters, Rachelle Hagwood of Orangeburg, Robin Blackwood (Weston) of Greenville and Rebecca Hogan (Michael) of Lexington; his stepson Brandon Reeves of Goose Creek; his grandchildren, Hollacyn Burns, Hayden Hagwood (Connie), Jacob Hagwood, Brooks Hogan and Sam Blackwood; his great grandchildren, Joy, Ascher and Harrison; and his siblings, Gloria Sasse of California, Julie Henderson (Eddie) of California, Kathleen Burns of Cayce and David Burns of Bluffton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
