With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Livingston of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Phyllis departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Phyllis. Though Phyllis may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Angus Jackson Cope. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Juanita Jones Cope; her husband Larry Clifford Livingston; her son Larry C. Livingston, Jr. (Deborah Jean); her granddaughter Danielle; her son Jack Livingston; and her grandchildren, Renee and Ricki.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Quilts of Valor Foundation, P.O. Box 191 Winterset, IA, 50273, or the Harvest Hope Food Bank, 2220 Shop Rd, Columbia, SC, 29201, or a facility of your choice in loving memory of Mrs. Jackie Livingston.
