She was predeceased by: her parents, John Albert Rucker and Margaret Anne Justice Rucker. She is survived by: her children, Ray Hendrix and Melvis Hendrix; her grandson Robert Hendrix (Heather); her great grandchildren, Gracie and Bristol; and her siblings, Phillip Rucker (Deborah) and Johnette Powell (Wes). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (655 Hammond Cross Rd, St Matthews, SC 29135).
