We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2023, at the age of 69, Susan H. Ott of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Chrystol Lee Rentz and Effie Lee Rischer Rentz; her husband Mike Ott; and her sister Patsy Chavis. She is survived by : her children, Doug Hughey (Stacy) of Orangeburg, William Brad Hughey of Orangeburg and Mikie Ott of Hanahan; her grandchildren, Morgan Moore (Jake), Alyssa Hughey, Xavier Hughey and Xander Hughey; her great grandchild Noah Moore; her brother David Rentz (Nancy); and her brother-in-law Terry Chavis.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 269 Calhoun St, Charleston, S.C. 29401.
