William Wideman Wardlaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Wideman Wardlaw of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Foster Bradley Wardlaw, Sr. and Ivey Steifle Wardlaw; and his brother Foster B. Wardlaw, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeanie Pressley (Kirk) of Chester, SC and Robert S. Wardlaw (Becky) of Surfside Beach, SC; and his sister-in-law Julie Betsill Wardlaw. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West End Cemetery (St Matthews, SC 29135).
