It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Kendall Wannamaker of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Long Wannamaker. She is survived by: her children, Win Anne Chewning (Ed), Kendall "Kent" Wannamaker (Mary Lil), Claire McCunniff (Don) and Jo Ellen Ott (Mark); her grandchildren, Charles Hipp, Jr. (Elizabeth), Mary Win King (Corey), Lindsey Westbury (Patrick), Dr. Kendall Wannamaker, Jr. (Molly Rose), Helen McCunniff, Donald McCunniff, Jr. (Margot), Virginia Lynn Robinson (Jack) and Joesy Pate (Cole); and her sister Sue Scammel. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parish Hall. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saint Matthew's Parish Church (1164 Fort Motte Rd, Fort Motte, SC 29135).
