As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Roger may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parent Frampton Christopher McMakin; and his sister Gloria Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Isco Floyd McMakin of St. Stephen; his children, Johnna Livingston (Jimmy) of Cordesville, Clarissa Kornahrens (Darian) of Cottageville and Bobby Espy of Cordesville; his brother Ricky McMakin (Charlene) of St. Stephen; and his grandchildren, Gray Livingston (Jensen), Emma Livingston, Jenna Livingston, Aaron Kornahrens, Kaci (Brian) and Liana Kornahrens.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of St. Stephen (126 Hood St, St Stephen, SC 29479).
