She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis Murdic Jones and Nannie Ruth Hilton Jones; her husband William Harrison Holmes; and her siblings, Nanette Myrtis Jones Davis, Deborah Ruth Jernigan and Robert Ottis Jones.

She is survived by: her sons, William Holmes, Jr. (Erica) of Brazil and John Holmes of Ridgeville; her siblings, Joyce Eubanks (Robert) of Anderson and Murdic "Dick" Jones of Moncks Corner; her grandchildren, Brittany Holmes of St. Stephen, William Holmes (Amy) of St. Stephen and Justin Holmes of Pineville; and her great grandchildren, CJ Haynes, JT Haynes, Brooke Holmes, Winter Holmes, Autumn Grace Holmes, Ronin Holmes and Autumn Lynn Holmes.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dial-Murray Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Moncks Corner, SC 29461). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at the Bonneau Baptist Cemetery (2156 US-52, Moncks Corner, SC 29431).
