Rose Harris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2023, at the age of 83, Rose Harris of Saint Stephen, South Carolina, born in Huger, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Edward Thomas and Mary Jane Shuler Thomas; her husband Keith "Bobby" Harris; her children, Marjorie Marion (Robert) of Charleston, James Wayne Harris (Kimberly) of Charleston and Ralph Randell Harris (Pamela) of Summerville; her siblings, Ida Hilton of Houston, TX, Shirley Gaskins of Huger and Charlie Thomas of Bonneau; her grandchildren, Michael Wayne Harris, Amy Caroline Marion, Chrystal Ledbetter, Jason Franciscus and Josh Campbell; and her great grandchildren, Annabelle Causey, Cooper Harris, Claire Harris, Noah Ledbetter, Hayden Ledbetter and Eleanor Campbell.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the Eccles United Methodist Church Preservation Project, c/o Sue Rolader, 1380 Copperhead Road, Cordesville, SC 29435 or to the St. Stephen United Methodist Church, PO Box 278, St. Stephen, SC 29479.
