He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Kaye Riley and George Jacob Riley; his wife Jane Foulke Cobourn of Rydal, PA; his sons, Clark K. Riley, Jr. and John W. Riley; and his brother George J. Riley, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Beverlee McCourt (Stephen) of Kingston, MA; his daughter-in-law Kathy Riley of Hebron, KY; his grandchildren, Adam Riley of Chestertown, NY, David McCourt (Jessica) of Reading, MA and Katherine McCourt of Basalt, CO; his stepgrandsons, Paul Kendall (Darla) of Mason, OH and Kevin Kendall (Celia) of Union, KY; his great grandchildren, Margot, Ronan, Eva and Oliver; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Cole of Greenwood, SC; and his pet Luna.
