With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evangeline L Crowe of Salem, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Otis Crowe of Salem; and her parents, Charles Quintin Deaton and Sarah Helen Adams Deaton. She is survived by: her children, Jack Sloan, Joe Sloan (Christie) and Linda Whitten; her sisters, Mildred Burrell and Esther Mize; and her grandchildren, Kimberly, James, Justin, Jonathan, Jessie, Ansley, Hadan, Kylie and Madison. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
