James Andrew Brown Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Andrew Brown of Salem, South Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Andrew leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his father Rev. James Davis Brown. He is survived by: his children, Mackenzie "Mack" Hedglin (Heather), Chris Brown, Melissa King (John) and Amy Brown; his sister Mary Anne Brooks (Dwight); his stepsister Trina Adams (Steven); Levi Ammons, Stephanie Oglesby and Lauren White. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
