She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Richard Chapman; her parents, Dewey Passmore and Mae Alexander Passmore; her sisters, Georgia Jackson (Tom) and Nancy Rice (Ervin); her brother-in-law Harold Jones; her grandchildren, Patti Alexander and Javil Rodrigues; and her great grandchild JT Rodrigues.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Crumpton (John), Kelley (Jimmy) of Salem, Pam Ramey (Larry) of Salem, Tammy Carter (Terry) of Salem and Lane Chapman (Lori) of Salem; her grandchildren, Renee Chalmers (Brent), Heather Goins (Fletcher), Allen O'Kelley (Heather), Crystal Gibson (Josh), Ricky Ramey (Dana), Aaron Ramey (Heather), Devin Carter (Hannah), Nikki Carter (Jamie), Austin Chapman (Ashely), Jessica Conlin (Jason), Jamie Hightower and Jordan Hightower (Madison); her stepsister Wilma Whitten; Jimmy Carter. She is also survived by twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Boone's Creek Baptist Church (261 Boone Creek Rd, Salem, SC 29676). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at the Boones Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (261 Boone Creek Rd, Salem, SC 29676).
