It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilda Ayer (Salley, South Carolina), who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Ayer; her grandsons, Joshua Carl Ayer and Edward Rentz; her parents, William Henry Reid and Clara Holtzclaw Reid; and her siblings, William Reid and Helen Marguarite Reid.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Ayer (Deborah) and Vonda Kaye Ayer Rentz (late Kevin); her grandchildren, Andy Ayer (Ashley), Mitch Ayer (Corey) and Tamara Lynn Ayer; and her great grandchildren, Christopher, James and Mason. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
