She was predeceased by : her parents, Ramsey Matthews and Levenia McClary Matthews; and her siblings, Sandra Dee Matthews (Preceding), Sadie Felder, Julia McCollough, Rose Washington, Janet Griffin, Ernest Matthews and Chester Matthews.

She is survived by : her husband Clarence Green of Greeleyville, SC; her daughter Mona Lisa Matthews of Greeleyville, SC; her granddaughter Gabrielle Matthews of Greeleyville, SC; her siblings, Latricia Cunningham of Salters, SC, Diann Williams of Salters, SC, Deacon Charles Matthews of Moncks Corner, SC, Dover Matthews (Hilder) of Salters, SC and Richard Matthews of New York, NY; and her siblings-in-law, Alpha Dell Green of Sandy Springs, GA, Barbara Nettles (Herbert) of Andrews, SC, Betsy Perry (Donnie) of Atlanta, GA, James Felder of Georgetown, SC and Larry Griffin of Providence Forge, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 2396 S Williamsburg County Hwy, Salters, SC 29590. Viewing was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clauddie Henryhand Memorial Chapel (1951 Thurgood Marshall Hwy, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (253 Coleman Rd, Greeleyville, SC 29056).
