She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie W. Haston and Fara Turner Haston; her husband Charlie Heyward Butler; and her siblings, William Thomas Haston, Myrtie Lou Leopard, Gerald Haston and Odell Haston.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Sue Butler (Raymond Shapiro) of Saluda; and her sister-in-law Shirley Gunter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
