She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Andrew and Annie Byrd Harling Mitchell of Saluda; and her sibling Branan Werts Mitchell of Lancaster. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Dale Adams; her sons, Kevin Joseph Adams of Washington, DC and James Andrew Adams of Summerville, SC; and her grandson James Adams (Drew) of Goose Creek. She is also survived by niece and a nephew; and several cousins.
