She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Matthews Gentry, Sr. and Hammie Rodgers Gentry; her husband Ronald Ross; her sons, Carl David Yarbrough and Charles Edward Yarbrough; her grandson Jason Yarbrough; her siblings, W. M. Gentry, Jr., Curtis Gentry, Carl Gentry and Grace Harmon; and also William Preston Yarbrough.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Y. Mitchell (Randy Lee) of Saluda; her stepson William Day Yarbrough of Irmo; her grandchildren, Seth Mitchell (Beth) of Saluda, Lindsey Kelly (Ray) of Prosperity, Selena Long (Corey) of Newberry and Alicia Wharton (Wattie) of Lexington; and her stepchildren, Barbara Mikusek, William Ross, Joseph Ross and John Ross. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Butler Methodist Church (235 Butler Church Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
