He is survived by: his son David Gentry (Tanya) of Saluda; his sisters, Judy Long of Saluda and Susan Long of Saluda; his grandchildren, Alicia Shealy (Donnie), Kristin Pegueros (Chupon), Chris Ward (Brittany) and David C. "Cole" Gentry Jr. (Sanyia); his great grandchildren, Kitty Castro and Beau Gentry; and his sister-in-law Debra Gentry.
