She is survived by : her daughters, Shandra Cauthen (Antwaun) of Virginia Beach, VA and Lavina Releford of Atlanta, GA; her siblings, Fred Norman Butler (Mae) of Saluda, SC, Bernard Posey (Indale) of Maryland, Ronnie Posey (Vickie), Leon Butler (Pamela), Marvin Butler of Augusta, GA, Kenneth Butler of Trenton, SC, Ruby Jean Burton (Bishop Henry) of Saluda, SC, Katherine Williams (Johnny) of Johnston, SC, Elizabeth Raiford of Aiken, SC, Debora Gilliam (Clint) of Aiken, SC, Dernice Butler of Aiken, SC and Flora Posey of Maryland; and her aunts, Lola Bell Butler of Saluda, SC, McKeever Posey of Maryland and Sophie Posey of Maryland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Butler and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (306 N Bouknight Ferry Rd, Saluda, SC 29138). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Shaw's Creek Baptist Church (331 Woodyard Rd, Johnston, SC 29847).
