He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stanmore Rodgers, Jr. and Lila Bledsoe Rodgers; his brothers, Kenneth L. Rodgers and James C. "Sonny Boy" Rodgers; and his brothers-in-law, Hubert Yonce, Jr. and Raiford Kirkland.
He is survived by: his wife Terri McCary Rodgers; his daughter Lachelle Rodgers White (Austin); his grandchildren, Hudson and Kennedy; his godson Joshua Pratt; his siblings, Shelby J. Yonce, Joan Rhoden (Ray), Mary H. Kirkland, Victoria Blanton (Scott) and Billy L. Rodgers; and his siblings-in-law, Lorie Hatfield, Carroll McCary (Sandra) and Darrell McCary (Minnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Celebration Church (6551 Batesburg Hwy, Batesburg-Leesville, SC 29006). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Bethlehem Methodist Church (159 Bethlehem Church Rd, Johnston, SC 29832).
